As promised Mr. Nobody gets his very own blogpost. The history behind this story is actually quite charming and it seems Mr. Nobody really has come to life. Mr. Nobody was first born in 1985 when he featured in a limited print run of a hardback Mr Men picture book edition but he never really made an impression; story of his life.
Now Adam Hargreaves, the son of founder Roger Hargreaves has re-released Mr. Nobody and given him his very own book and rightfully so. There has been a lot of interest in this book and it seems the tale has a more profound effect on adults and children alike, than Mr. Bump ever could.
Mr. Men is just wonderful, celebrating it’s 40th year and there are only a few books series like Dan Brown’s Da Vinci Code that have sold more. We see a little bit of ourselves in ever mr men and it’s great that we are still finding new characteristics. I hope there is more to come.
